A 1990 vertical west declining brass dial 500mm high by 400mm wide 4 metres up on exterior wall of a house at 2 Ferry St, Portaferry There is an engraving of a seascape showing a sailing ship on the waves ,fishes below, lighthouse, castle and the sun with the motto "TIME'S BUT A SHIP THAT BEARS THEE, NOT THY HOME…" and below "LAT LIV XXIII N" "LONG V XXXIII W" "DUNLOP FECIT MXM" It has an engraving of a crest with a cat rampant and the motto "TOUCH NOT THE CAT OUT THE GLOVE" . There is an Equation of Time graph with "BRITISH SUMMER TIME" above it. The hour lines are marked with Roman Numerals II to XII
