A millenium "MM" vertical south east declining slate dial, 900mm high by 600mm wide, 7 metres up on south wall of The Market House, Portaferry. It has a brass gnomon in the form of a cannon firing a ball. Inscribed "Upper Ards Hist. Soc" and "Designer David Dunlop" The hour lines are marked with Roman Numerals IX to V
