Mayo Sundial

A very small Direct East Sundial (inside red circle) 3 metres high on the south east corner of St.Patrick's Church of Ireland Cathedral in Killala.
The building was erected c.1670-80, with the tower and spire being added in 1817. It occupies the site of an earlier church founded by St. Muredach.

Close-up of the sundial. The gnomon(the shadow casting device) is missing.

Many thanks to Noel O'Neill for bringing this dial to my attention
